“I don’t photograph well!” Is how 100% of my sessions begin, and 100% of the time each session ends with, “I didn’t know I could look this good!”

Hi, I’m Nikki Zemites — the heart and hands behind Camp Loom Studios. I’m a photographer, videographer, and fiber artist based in Covington, KY, creating work that’s nostalgic, textured, and full of feeling. With 15 years behind the lens and a background in fine art, I capture everything from weddings to portraits with a warm, cinematic eye — honest, artful, and always a little bit magic.

Because I’ve always felt a little awkward in front of the camera myself, I’ve learned the magic recipe for helping people feel at ease — patience, presence, and genuine connection.
